United Corporation have developed and patented a device that continually monitors the status of the alarm outputs from the system. Heartbeat will detect if a componant that is not functioning correctly and automatically dials the Service Centre which is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In 79% of cases, the potential fault is rectified without the client’s knowledge by a technician that re-program the system in a few minutes.

Onsite
However, 21% of faults require a technician to attend the site. By carrying pre-tested components, the fault can be rectified within four hours and was audited last quater at 3 hours and 58 minutes from when the call was logged throughout the UK. Clients with international sites are provided with first line support (remote) 24 / 7 from the UK, whilst the onsite support is provided by the system manufacturer.
